Dear Muslimah

If you are ready to start your business, here are 9 (nine) principles of Islamic Entrepreneurship to digest:

1. Entrepreneurship is an integral parts of Islamic religion

2. Entrepreneurs are "khalifah" and hold responsibilities to creates prosperity for ummah - not himself alone

3. Entrepreneurship is part of ibadah or good deeds.

4. Entrepreneurship is a on-going motivation to achieve success in life and world hereafter.

5. Excellence entrepreneurship is not measured by the "end result" but also the way /means of achieving it.

6. Position of entrepreneurship in Islam is an encouragement for a good income. Note: ProphetMuhammad (Pbuh) expounded that 9 out of 10 sources of income is from business.

7. Entrepreneurship is a vehicle in the development of Islamic Economic System


8. Entrepreneurship must be guided by Al Quran and Hadith

9. Entrepreneurial ethics must be based on the exemplary conducts of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). For Muslimah they must follow the footsteps on Siti Khadijah a.s. in conducting and managing business empire.
